Artist participation rules

ARTISTS

 

Centro de Arte Global/Global Art Center are space where various plastic creations can be made visible and appreciated by different audiences worldwide, in order to strengthen the work of plastic artists. A website that provides a unique treatment to the work as it goes beyond the diffusion for the sake of diffusion itself, this space aims to show the transcendence of the artist as part of a historical, social and aesthetic context, as well as his work, for its value in both substance and form, since the work is conceived as the product of an applied and perfected technique that carries an aesthetic sense and cultural value.

ARTICIPATION GUIDELINES

 

Interested artists may exhibit their work on the website under the following participation guidelines:

 

The artist can will send an image for each of the works exhibited.

 

Make a single contribution for each work or group of works required to be exhibited. This input help us maintain the site.

 

If the artist wishes to exhibit one work, the minimum recovery fee will be $ 50.00 MX (fifty Mexican pesos) or the equivalent at the moment of exchange of the Euro currency.

 

If the artist wishes to exhibit from 2 to 5 works, the minimum recovery fee will be $100.00 MX (one hundred Mexican pesos) or the equivalent at the moment of exchange of the Euro currency.

 

If the artist wishes to exhibit from 6 to 12 works, the minimum recovery fee will be $350.00 MX (three hundred and fifty Mexican pesos) or the equivalent at the moment of exchange of the Euro currency.

 

The contribution allows the artworks to be kept on display for a period of 3 to 6 months.

 

The contribution will be unique for each artwork or group of artworks came with up, under the terms and amounts mentioned above. The artist may contribute a one-off fee to enable him/her to publish periodically, up to the maximum number of artwors covered by the amount of the contribution amount is reached.

 

The artwork or group artworks will remain exhibited on the site from 3 to 6 months, or in a shorter period if required by the artist.

 

If the artist requests to modify the image or images of the work or group of artworks, the exhibition time will be considered from the moment the new images of the artworks have been placed on the site, the 1st, 2nd or 3rd recovery amount will be applied, depending on the number of images of the artworks.

 

The author must submit an image of each work with good resolution and in jpg format.

Each image of the artwork must contain the author's contact information.

A brief review, commentary or history of the work, in a paragraph of 3 to 5 lines.

A technical sheet containing: title of the work, technique, year of creation and dimensions.

A brief description of the artist.

Each artist has the option of having a website linked to Centro de Arte Global/Global Art Center, a subdomain for the promotion of his or her own artworks (with the first name domainname.centro-arte-global.com).

 

The domain (subdomain) and the web, with one or up to five sections or pages with their own entries, has a recovery fee of $500 MXN (five hundred Mexican pesos, for the construction of one to five pages). If the author wishes the site to have six to twelve pages, he/she must pay a recovery fee of $1,700 MXN (one thousand seven hundred Mexican pesos). After 13 pages or sections, as well as the elaboration of a special design work, a special recovery fee will be covered and must be agreed with the CAG, as the web design has a standard model, suitable for the promotion of art history and art criticism writings. The recovery fees indicated include the update of one to five changes per year, either of the content or of part of the website.

 

The Centro de Arte Global/Global Art Center is in charge of the elaboration and construction of the artistic website, the pages and the individual website. The artists only have to provide the images of artworks, content of the texts and the images with which they wish to compose their personal website.
